Best Supporting Actress nominee Jackie Weaver was stunning -- at 65, no less -- in a custom mermaid silhouette red gown by Rani Zakhem at the 2013 Oscars.

It was certainly age-appropriate and fancy enough for the red carpet. The maroon color popped against her porcelain skin, as well.

Her dress was essentially a clinic for how more mature actresses should and can dress at these types of events. Ladies of a certain age do not need to forego style. Weaver is proof of that.

And check out her million-dollar smile.
