Big Year For Beach Boys And Their Fans [VIDEO]

It's hard to imagine after 50 years.  But it looks like the period between the middle of 2011, and the middle of 2012 might be one of the biggest years for the Beach Boys and their fans.  Think about it.  Who could have imagined that the most famous unreleased album of all time, 'Smile', would see the light of day last year.

And for 2012, the Beach Boys reunite for not only a 50th anniversary tour, but an album of brand new songs!  True, it's sad that Carl and Dennis Wilson are no longer with us.  But the remaining band members still manage to achieve that unbelievable chemistry and vocal harmony.

The tour kicks off in April with the second date on April 26th, right here in Texas at Verizon Theater in Grand Prairie.  If you don't have a copy of 'Smile Sessions' yet, I highly recommend it.  It's a marvel to listen to some of the most incredible vocal harmonies ever arranged and sung in a studio.  Check out a video featuring just a taste of 'Smile', and the story behind it's resurrection and release:
