Cat Stevens Canceled One of His Comeback Shows…Because of Scalpers

Later this year, Cat Stevens is touring in North America for the first time in 35 years. The dates were supposed to include a December show in New York...but that has since been canceled, because of SCALPERS.

In a Facebook post, he explained, quote, "I have been a longtime supporter of paperless tickets to my shows worldwide and avoiding scalpers. Unfortunately New York has a state law that requires all tickets sold for shows in NYC to be paper, enabling them to be bought and sold at inflated prices. I'm sorry."
