The Dallas Cowboys' loss to the Washington Redskins on Monday night is not the only thing the team will worry about this week as it was announced that linebacker, Justin Durant, is out for the rest of the season.

Durant suffered a torn right bicep during the last touchdown drive by the Washington Redskins in the Cowboys' 20-17 overtime loss on Monday Night Football.

The Cowboys, who ranked dead last in defense last year, had benefited from Durant's play this season after he took over signal calling duties from Sean Lee, who is also out for the season. He had 61 tackles on the season, with two forced fumbles. Plus, four passes defensed that produced an interception and a fumble recovery.

"He's in the top three or four performers we've had this year on defense," owner and general manager Jerry Jones said. "He plays a key position, that weakside linebacker principally. That's a significant loss for us."(via ESPN)

According to the Dallas Cowboys' website, the team will likely turn to rookie Anthony Hitchens to start in place of Durant.
