As John Mayer hinted a while back, Dead and Company will return for a series of summer dates. The group, which features three members of the Grateful Dead, has announced U.S. shows that will run in June and July.

Highlights include multi-night stands in Boulder, and at Citi Field in New York and Boston's Fenway Park, as well as a stop at the Bonnaroo Festival. Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzman and Bob Weir – who will be joined by Mayer, Allman Brothers Band vet Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti – will also make their late-night debut as Dead and Company on Feb. 18 on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Dead and Company grew out of last summer's hugely successful Grateful Dead Fare Thee Well concerts in Santa Clara, Calif., and at Chicago's Soldier Field. Those appearances also featured Chimenti. Just weeks later, Dead and Company announced a fall tour that included all of the living members of the Grateful Dead except for bassist Phil Lesh.

Tickets for the new shows go on sale Feb. 12 at Live Nation, but a pre-sale event at Dead and Company's website is set for tomorrow. Details on a July 4 date are still forthcoming. You can see the rest of the announced dates and cities below.
