Drunk Couple Enters Empty Apartment, Think They’ve Been Robbed

They got so hammered, when they went home, they entered the WRONG apartment!

Kennewick police were glad it worked out ok, but likely got a great laugh. Over the weekend, Officer Jackson of the Kennewick police department reported on their Facebook page that a couple went out and apparently got rather intoxicated.

They made it home, but upon entering their apartment, they called 911 to report everything they owned had been stolen, down to their dog! The apartment was empty to the bare walls!

However, after officers arrived, they discovered (and pointed out to the couple) they'd entered the wrong unit...it was empty.

The police directed the couple to their proper home, where they found all their belongings safe and sound. The couple's names and the location of their apartment complex were not revealed by police.
