As each installment of their HBO documentary 'Sonic Highways' airs, Foo Fighters have played a concert in a small venue. Last night (Oct. 31) was Nashville's turn, and, because it was Halloween, they performed wearing Kiss makeup.

Consequence of Sound reports that, at the historic Ryman Auditorium, they gave a live debut to 'Congregation' towards the end of the 26-song set. That was followed by a take on Black Sabbath's 'War Pigs,' for which they brought out Zac Brown, as they had done on the 'Late Show with David Letterman' a few weeks prior.

The second half of the set was filled with covers, actually. In addition to Tony Joe White's swamp rock classic 'Polk Salad Annie' (which featured an appearance from White), they played songs by Cheap Trick ('Stiff Competition'), Queen and David Bowie ('Under Pressure'), Van Halen ('Ain't Talkin' 'bout Love') and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers ('Breakdown').

We've embedded 'Congregation' at the top and 'War Pigs' below. In order for you to see the band in Kiss makeup clearer, we've also put in some down-in-front footage of 'Everlong,' the concert's closer.
