Fun Last Minute Pranks for April Fool’s Day [VIDEO]

Beware! The pranksters are out today. Yes, it's April Fool's Day. If you need some ideas on a few harmless but funny pranks, I found a great video that has you covered.

Do you know the history of April Fool's Day? There are a few different theories. The first one I've always heard about was when the calendar changed in France back in the 1500s. The new year had been around this time of spring, but France to the Gregorian calendar and the New Year was moved to January 1. News traveled slow back then so some were still on the old calendar. The "informed" people thought that was funny that some refused to change to the new calendar and were considered naive and became the butt of jokes and pranks. According to History.com one of the pranks was:

having paper fish placed on their backs and being referred to as “poisson d’avril” (April fish), said to symbolize a young, easily caught fish and a gullible person.

Makes sense, right? The only problem is April Fool's has been around longer than the 1500's. If fact, it's supposedly mentioned in The Canterbury Tales (back in the 1300's) and historians says it goes WAY back to Roman times. So basically, no one really knows!
