A blurry pic began making its way around the internet this morning, purporting to be our first look at Tom Hardy in the upcoming film 'Mad Max: Fury Road,' and we've just gotten confirmation that's it's totally legit.

Shooting just wrapped on 'Mad Max: Fury Road' in Australia, but we haven't really seen anything from the upcoming sequel... until now. A blurry photo started circulating this morning, featuring Tom Hardy looking all dirty and ragged, but surprisingly well-dressed for the post-apocalypse. And now Warner Bros. has confirmed that yes, this is indeed our first official look at Hardy in the film.

It appears that this autographed photo (which originated on Instagram) was a gift Hardy gave to the crew on their last day of filming. In a recent interview with the Belfast Telegraph, Hardy elaborated on how much he enjoyed the shoot and what we can expect from the film:

It was an amazing experience. It's a big, live-action, fully articulated stunts piece, which picks up where we left off with the Mel Gibson Mad Max and takes it to the next level.

'Mad Max: Fury Road' co-stars Charlize Theron and Nicholas Hoult and hits theaters in 3D in 2014, but until then, enjoy your first look at Hardy below.
