There are "open and shut" cases, and then there's this. A man admitted to setting a house fire to TV crews while firefighters worked to put it out, then casually turned himself in to police.

A Baltimore man was being interviewed by a local TV crew as an eye witness to a neighborhood house fire, when he confessed to the reporter how and why he intentionally set the fire himself. He said he wanted to bring attention to the horrible living conditions inside the home, and his earlier complaints to police were not taken seriously. So he set the fire with the hopes that news crews would show up. He got his wish.

He then walked calmly to police and confessed to them. Check out the look of surprise on the faces of the police officers, which is probably the same look the TV camera crew had.
