Right after being reamed by a judge for being incompetent in practicing California law, Lindsay Lohan's beleagured attorney, Mark Heller, demonstrated he also wasn't too familiar with medicine.

Heller swore up and down that La Lohan suffered a concussion in her car crash that spawned her lying to cops case, but -- stop us if you've heard this one before -- law enforcement officials insist no such injury happened.

After he was read the riot act in court, Heller delivered an awkward press conference, insisting Lilo hurt her poor little head.

“My client suffered a concussion, and never should have been questioned by the police," Heller fumed. "She was basically held against her will and forced to answer questions.”

Except, you know, not.

“The doctors who treated Lindsay on the day of her car accident last summer didn't diagnose her with a concussion," sources told Radar Online. "She suffered no injury to her head whatsoever."

To be fair, Lohan was a little busted up, just not above the neck. “She did have bruised ribs, and she was very sore, but that was her only significant injury.”

“Lindsay had a CT scan of her head, neck, and spine and there was no injury. Not only that, but Lindsay went back to work after leaving the hospital,” the source added. “For Mark Heller to claim that Lindsay had a concussion is an absolute and blatant lie." You don't say!

"When she was questioned by cops at the emergency room, she wasn't denied any medical attention because of them.”

Of course. She was temporarily denied paparazzi attention, though, and that probably bothered her more than anything. Chances are if Lohan was suffering the repercussions of a blow to the head, it was from one circa 2006.
