The list of May 2016 new music releases is highlighted by loving looks back from two of classic rock's living legends, tough new band recordings from two others, and a string of tasty live packages.

I Still Do finds Eric Clapton again collaborating with producer Glyn Johns, who worked on a pair of the guitarist's '70s-era albums – including the classic Slowhand. The track listing features songs by Bob Dylan ("I Dreamed I Saw St. Augustine") and Robert Johnson ("Stones in My Passway"). Dylan, meanwhile, continues to plunder the vast catalog of songs interpreted by Frank Sinatra with Fallen Angels. His 2015 album Shadows in the Night featured similarly reworked pop standards.

Meanwhile, Tom Petty's pre-Heartbreakers band Mudcrutch is back with their second post-reunion studio effort, simply titled Mudcrutch 2. The band includes two other members of the Heartbreakers, Mike Campbell and Benmont Tench. Stephen Stills took a different path away from his main band, Crosby, Stills & Nash, to create a supergroup that includes Barry Goldberg and Kenny Wayne Shepherd. Pierced Arrow, the Rides' sophomore release, follows 2013's Can't Get Enough.

You can also look forward to concert recordings from Temple of Rock, the group led by former Scorpions and UFO guitarist Michael Schenker; the Grateful Dead, in a December 1973 edition of the heralded Dick’s Picks series; and Motorhead, taking the stage for one of their final performances.
