Remember Former NYC Mayor Ed Koch With His Best Pop Culture Moments
Ed Koch, who was mayor of New York City from 1978 to 1989, died today from congestive heart failure. He was 88 years old. Younger people probably remember him from being in 'The Muppets Take Manhattan' and for doing lots and lots of movie reviews. Here are some of his more fun/less scandalous moments.
Koch was the judge on 'The People's Court' from 1995-1997.
Koch played a politician whose Thanksgiving dinner rivaled the mayor's. You can see the whole episode here.
Not only is he meeting Michael Jackson, he's doing it on the subway. Has Bloomberg ever even been on the subway? Also there are balloons.
