Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Demo To Slice Up Consoles Next Month

The demo for the Raiden-centric Metal Gear Solid spin-off, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, will be released for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 next month!

IGN has reported on a tweet by Konami that says a demo is on the way for download on PSN and XBLA.

Until then, the sneak peek at Raiden's katana-flashing exploits is only available through the Zone of the Enders HD Collection. The wide release of the demo in January comes ahead of the game's launch on February 19th, 2013 in North America and February 22nd, 2013 in Europe. Anyone curious at the prospect of controlling Raiden and slicing their way through a story set between the events of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid: 4 will have a month to play through the demo and decide if they're ready to step into Raiden's cyborg shoes again.
