MTV is Calling For Modern Families to Be Featured in a New Docu-Series

MTV is looking for 'Modern Families' to showcase on a new docu-series. The cable TV channel that's well known for unscripted shows like 'The Real World', 'Jersey Shore', '16 and Pregnant' and 'Teen Mom' among others are looking to share the day-to-day lives of non-traditional families in a new docu-series.Basically, if your family is off the beaten path, same-sex parents, over-sized, multicultural, recently blended, MTV wants to hear your story. According to Shelby Krasnoff, casting producer for MTV Networks, the focus of the series will evolve around teens in these families.

We are...looking for a family for the series with a number of key members in our demo (16-25)...The main voice being that of a teen or a young adult. We essentially want to feature a group that defies the nuclear family in a way that is helping to re-define the new normal.
