Japan will be getting an all new Pokemon Rumble title for the Wii U eShop. Can a Western release be far behind?

As Joystiq indicated, the game (dubbed Pokemon Scramble in Japan), will be available this spring. It will include nearly 650 different Pokemon, and will allow for up to 100 to battle it out at the same time. Pokemon Rumble will be playable by up to four people, just like previous entries.

Japan got similar versions of the Nintendo 3DS and Wii iterations of Pokemon Rumble before North America and the rest of the world, which means there's definitely a chance we could see the game before the fall release of Pokemon X and Y. Just how it will make use of the Wii U GamePad remains to be seen, but more Pokemon is always good news for masters training around the globe.
