One Direction's video for 'Story of My Life,' a decidedly thoughtful, introspective ballad, finds the boys living (and remembering) life through photos and images while developing them in a dark room.

Since we live in a digital age, where iPhone cameras are what documents the happenings in our lives, it's an old-fashioned way to do things! Most of 1D's fans are millennials used to instantly posted images and a culture of over-sharing, so this is certainly a "vintage" way to take pictures.

The boys come to life from and grow up with their photos, which offer an intimate look at their lives. We see Harry Styles with his mama, Louis Tomlinson with his grandparents and more. It's incredibly sweet.

The video was set to drop on Nov. 3 but someone at Vevo accidentally leaked it early and is likely getting the axe. The leak of this clip is a sore spot since Directioners have been plotting to obliterate Miley Cyrus' record for most views in a 24-hour period, set by her 'Wrecking Ball' clip.

The battle rages on... but we are feeling the 1D clip. We love getting to know the "real" them.
