Robin Gibb Says He Is Recovering

Robin Gibb has spoken out after his rumored diagnosis of suffering from liver cancer.  And the Bee Gee says he is on the road to recovery.  In his statements, he never alludes to the actual illness, but admits that his condition was and is serious.

Robin stated on his website RobinGibb.com , "I wish to thank my family, friends and fans and the many thousands of people who do not know me but have enjoyed Bee Gees music and have wished me well. I have been very unwell and am now on the road to recovery, and your prayers and wishes are a great tonic to me."

The singer has been photographed over recent weeks looking extremely thin and gaunt, and he was admitted to the hospital for supposed intestinal problems just over two weeks ago.  We wish him well, and are hopeful that he is indeed recovering.  (via RobinGibb.com)
