School Shooting at Price Middle School in Atlanta Georgia

A 14 year-old was been shot in the head at Price Middle School in Georgia.

Update at 3:12 PM

The 14-year-old student was shot in the head or neck on Thursday afternoon. The student was taken to the hospital; his condition has not been officially released, but reports say that he is alert, conscious and breathing.

A teacher was also injured, though not by a gun; she may have been hurt during the chaos after the gunshots. The teacher was also taken to the hospital, and apparently her condition is not serious.

Police have apprehended the suspected shooter, who police spokesman Carlos Campos said was also a student. Price and other nearby schools have been placed on lockdown.
