When Slash's kids get back to school in the fall and have to write about what they did on their summer vacation, we know at least one of the items on their list: traveling to the Mediterranean island of Ibiza, where their famous dad had some fun in the sun (and in a nightclub).

Vintage Vinyl News reports that Slash made an appearance at Ibiza's Club Pacha on July 29 and secured a spot in front of DJ Chuckie's turntables, where he contributed some of his signature guitar lines to a one-of-a-kind dance jam. The club has since uploaded footage of the performance, which you can watch above. Slash certainly had fun; as he tweeted after the show, "Great hang/jam @pasha w/ @djchuckie & the whole crew. Chuckie's on fire; works his ass off & does his thing EVERY nite. Good dude. iiii]; )'"

The Slash/Chuckie collaboration continues a year of unexpected high-profile team-ups for the former Guns N' Roses guitarist, who has also recently worked with Brian May of Queen (on a track recorded to call attention to the British government's plans to exterminate badgers) and Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas (for a song that's part of an anti-child-slavery campaign). As the Daily Mail reports, Slash's trip to Ibiza was mostly about play rather than work, but his time off was short-lived. He's already back in the States, working on new demos for his next solo LP.
