Okay confession time, I've often thought that when I give money to a homeless person they just spend it on booze and cigarettes. Upon rare occasions I've witnessed said individuals buying food. I guess I'm not alone in my belief, because the person conducting this social experiment believed the same, although the homeless guy just melted our hearts.
Just when we thought we'd seen it all, an Odessa man posts a Craigslist ad seeking a homeless girl as a roommate in exchange for cooking, cleaning, cuddling and satiating his "high sex drive."
Here's another of the many, many, MANY reasons it stinks that Robin Williams is dead: Whenever he got a job, he made whoever hired him also give jobs to homeless people.
When the guy finds out, he's so happy that he can't stop LAUGHING. It turns out he recently found a JOB too. And after paying for the apartment and everything else, he still has $21,000 in the bank.
A homeless guy in Brazil checked into a hospital late last month after someone hit him in the face with a ROCK. And it actually turned out to be a good thing, because doctors realized he also had SKIN CANCER and removed it. But the real story is his dog . . . for over two weeks, it's been sitting outside the hospital WAITING for him. Luckily hospital staff noticed, and they've been feeding it. They also let the two visit for a few minutes the other day, and there's video of it online.
There's a video on YouTube of a car driving up to a shirtless guy on the street who's SUPPOSEDLY a homeless guy with the ability to do amazing impressions. But it immediately seems suspicious when he starts doing characters from "Breaking Bad", which has its series finale this Sunday. Because obviously not many homeless people have access to "Breaking Bad" episodes.
A homeless man in Boston named Glen James was walking around a parking lot on Saturday when he came across a backpack in front of a TJ Maxx store. And when he opened it up, he found a passport, $2,400 in CASH and $40,000 in traveler's checks.
This is one of those 'feel good' stories that runs in parallel to Susan Boyle's instant fame. A young boy takes the stage in the show 'Korea's Got Talent' and tells his story of homelessness and life on the streets. He then proceeds to blow the audience and the judges away with his incredible voice. Watch the video but be warned. You will need the tissues handy:
