Everyone knows what happened to Tom Hanks after starring in the hit '80s sitcom 'Bosom Buddies' (hint: he's one of our most beloved actors), but whatever happened to his pal, played by Peter Scolari?

Then:

Peter co-starred with future mega-star Hanks on 'Bosom Buddies,' a sitcom about two scheming friends who need a place to live and pose as women to take up residence in an all-ladies apartment complex. Scolari also starred on the long-running show 'Newhart' from 1984 to 1990, and made appearances on 'Happy Days' and 'Family Ties.'

Scolari continued to act, popping up in films like 'Camp Nowhere,' and reuniting with former 'Bosom Buddy' Hanks in 'That Thing You Do!' and 'The Polar Express.' From 1997 to 2000, he played Rick Moranis' role of Wayne Szalinski on the TV series version of 'Honey, I Shrunk the Kids,' and he also showed up on everything from cartoons ('Hey Arnold,' 'Pinky and the Brain,') to dramas like 'ER' and 'The West Wing.'

More recently, though, you've probably seen him on Lena Dunham's HBO series 'Girls,' in which he plays Hannah's hilarious father.
