It's funny the things that come up in conversations when your talking with friends. Of course the new Fall T.V. shows are making their season premieres, which made a few of us at the station reminisce about old T.V. shows

Then the conversation turned to T.V. shows we weren't allowed to watch as kids.

Well, not sure if I was 'not allowed', but I do remember my parents did want me to watch 'Love American Style' cause it was racy! I loved the show!! Remember it? It was only 30 minutes long and it had 3 love skits each week. The thing I loved the most was the opening song!

When I was about 7 or 8, I remember my plan to watch the show. I'd grab the Sears Christmas Wish Book...(Remember those?) and sit on the floor in front of the T.V. and act like I was flipping thought the catalog.  When in fact, I was secretly watching the show! I remember my dad quietly saying to my mother, "Should we change the channel?" and my mother said "No, she's not paying attention."

Yes!! It worked!! I so got away with it! At least a couple of times before they caught on!

Here's the opening song! Yep, I still know all the words!

Was there a T.V. show you weren't allowed to watch when you were a kid? What was it?
