A while back, we showed you video of a boy singing in a guitar shop. His voice was so amazing, the shop owner was completely beside himself. That small boy is starting to grow up, and is still wowing his audiences.

Brendan MacFarlane, from Perth, Scotland, is now 16 years old. Back in 2010, the YouTube video surfaced of Brendan blowing away the guitar shop owner.

Now he's taller, his voice is lower, and he has clearly continued to hone his craft as he was invited to join the likes of Vince Gill and his side project The Time Jumpers during a recent show in Nashville. As he took the stage, Brendan announced the song he would sing, 'I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry' by Hank Williams, Sr. He mentioned "This is the song that started me off". And he nailed it. Keep in mind, this young man is surrounded by country stars, and he handled himself like he belonged with them. Check it out.

Yes, that was Vince cracking a joke about having something "viral" before welcoming MacFarlane to the stage. What a ham.

At this point, one has to wonder when the title "Internet Sensation" is going to be replaced by "Recording Star". It's only a matter of time.
