Clay Shoot Benefitting Meals on Wheels is Saturday, August 21st
You can help feed over 1450 people every day that live in Abilene and the surrounding area, who are not able to feed themselves. Many of which are either elderly and or have disabilities or both. Help Meals on Wheels by participating in the 15th Annual Sporting Clays Classic, Saturday, August 21st.
The clay shoot will be held at the Abilene Sporting Clays South range at 1102 E.Spur 707, Saturday, August 21st, beginning promptly at 8:30 AM and going until the last shooters complete or at 11:30m AM. There will be a couple of raffles and an auction, so get your tickets early.
An individual entry fee is only $150 per shooter. Each shooter gets 100 targets, a continental breakfast, raffle tickets one for a Browning Citori Special Hunter 12-gauge Shotgun, an orange-colored Grizzly brand 20-quart cooler, and a Hog Hunt event to be held in Jones County. Plus, all registered shooters will also get a 15th Annual Sporting Clays Classic event t-shirt and a Barbecue lunch from Sharon Allen’s Barbeque Restaurant.

Proceeds from this event will help provide home-delivered meals and safety checks for the elderly and adults with disabilities in Abilene and the surrounding area.
If you can't participate but are able to help, several multi-level sponsorships and or donation opportunities are still available ranging in price from $250 to $5,000.
Furthermore, if you can donate a little of your time, you can help us provide an elderly person or someone with disabilities with a hot, nutritious meal and the happiness of having your company. Delivery usually takes 1 hour to deliver 12 to 18 meals on a route. Call to sign up to volunteer.
