The Casen’s Crew Children’s Cardiomyopathy Golf Tournament returns to Abilene on Saturday, August 23, 2025. After last year’s tournament that sold out weeks in advance, organizers are urging golfers and supporters to sign up early this year.

This heart-filled event is more than just a day on the green, it’s a way to celebrate the life of Casen Steele Riley, an Abilene newborn whose short life left a lasting impact on all West Texans.

Honoring Casen's Legacy with Purpose

Casen was born in Abilene to Heather and Casey Riley. He was full of love and joy but faced a serious battle from the start. Diagnosed with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM), a rare and serious heart muscle disease, Casen passed away at just six months old. His parents turned their grief into a mission of awareness and action by creating this annual tournament.
