The 12th Armored Division Museum is opening up its doors this year to host its first-ever haunted house tour inside the museum. When you come to think of it, the museum is a perfect place to have a haunted house tour. And with all that old war gear and equipment, there's just something creepy about that.

For over 80 years it's been well-known that the Weapons of War may have a haunted history behind them. At the end of every war, there are the leftover tanks, ships, aircraft, watchtowers, buildings, and the battlefield, you'll find the things the warriors left behind.

Just knowing that, and understanding that they fell to the ground at the end of someone's life is haunting enough. Guns are not just wood and steel they are however the repositories of those lost spirits who touched them and were clinging to them during their last moments.

So, keep that in mind when you step into the 12th Armored Division Museum in Abilene. When I drive by that museum and I go around the back and see all the vehicles of war, I begin to wonder if there are any restless spirits living within them.

Now if that's something that strikes your interest then you're going to love the haunted house tour at the 12th Armored Division Museum located at 1289 N 2nd Street near downtown Abilene. The haunted house tours will be on October 21st 22nd 28 and 29th from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
