New Years Resolutions Texas Ranks #3 for Fitness in the United States
My New Fitness Journey and the Lone Star State’s Active Advantage
Embracing a Fresh Start
As 2025 approaches, I’m excited to begin a brand-new fitness journey. After previously joining a gym that ultimately changed ownership and lost the trainers I’d grown to trust, I’ve decided it’s time for a fresh start at Planet Fitness. My goal is ambitious, shedding between 75 to 85 pounds, and I’m determined to make steady, consistent progress. Fortunately, I’m starting this new chapter in Texas, a state that’s ranked third in the nation for being “fitness-friendly.”
Why Texas Shines for Fitness
According to the airport parking experts at SkyParkSecure.com, the Lone Star State boasts a wealth of resources for anyone looking to get active. From miles of scenic walking and biking paths to countless fitness centers, our state truly supports all who want to improve their health. Whether I walk, jog, or hit the gym, I’m confident I have the ideal environment to stay motivated.
World-Class Facilities and Outdoor Opportunities
What makes Texas stand out for someone like me? With over 31,000 miles of bike routes and 2,000 miles of walking routes, I can easily break up my routine between indoor and outdoor workouts. In addition, the state’s thousands of gyms, yoga studios, and Pilates centers allow me to mix up my sessions and keep training fresh. Being surrounded by such a robust fitness infrastructure helps ensure I’ll remain on track with my weight loss and wellness goals.

A Roadmap to Success
I know that achieving my fitness dreams will require patience, dedication, and the right environment. Thankfully, Texas offers the perfect backdrop. As I lace up my sneakers and head out for a walk or workout at Planet Fitness, I’m reminded that I’m not alone on this journey. My state’s commitment to health and wellness stands as both an inspiration and a practical resource.

I guess that new bicycle I purchased and put together a couple of years ago is now going to come in handy. I've always loved the great outdoors as I've written several articles about all the Hiking Trails Around West Texas, that information will also come in handy. I'll see you at the gym or on one of the many walking trails.
