Texas’ 10 Most Wanted: Teen Fugitive Joseph Harris Considered Armed and Dangerous

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) and Texas Rangers have officially added 18-year-old Joseph Joshua Harris of Converse, Texas, to the state’s 10 Most Wanted Fugitives List, warning the public, that even though he's a teen he is considered armed, dangerous, and must not be approached. A $3,000 reward is being offered through Texas Crime Stoppers for any anonymous tip leading to his arrest.

A Deceptively Young Appearance

Regardless of his age, Harris has a notably youthful appearance, often resembling a 12-year-old boy rather than an adult, making it easier for him to gain trust and exploit unsuspecting victims. Authorities stress the importance of staying vigilant and reporting any sightings immediately.

Charges & Criminal History

Harris has been wanted out of Bexar County since February 24, 2025, facing charges of capital murder by terror threat and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. His criminal history includes theft of a firearm, evading arrest, unlawful carrying of a weapon, burglary, and engaging in organized criminal activity.
