It's about to get stinking hot in Texas, so folks all over the Lone Star State will try to get as close to as many water sources as possible. While we do have some awesome swimming holes, did you know we have some breathtaking waterfalls as well?

Our southern and far western parts of the state have dusty deserts, we do have some aealso have beautiful beaches, tall trees (in East Texas), natural springs, and some of the most epic swimming holes. We also have some pretty sweet-looking waterfalls.

I went on a trip to Hawaii and became mesmerized by the waterfalls that Oahu had. The picture above does not do it justice, but it did get me more interested in the waterfalls that we have here in Texas, and I must say we have some pretty impressive ones of our own in the Lone Star State.
