Abilene Police Dept. Needs Your Help in Finding a Porch Pirate
There's nothing to chaps my hide more than someone who steals from others, especially "porch pirates".
A "porch pirate" is someone who steals packages from the doorstep of someone's home. While these thefts typically skyrocket during the holidays, thieves still take advantage of others throughout the year.
On Monday, July 11th, Abilene Police Department was alerted of a package stolen from someone's doorstep on the 1100 block of South 13th street.. Luckily, like many homes now, the victim had pretty good surveillance footage of the theft in action with a fairly decent look at the thief.
Abilene Police need our help in locating this thief, so if you see him around, please call 325-677-TIPS (8477), submit it online, or by reporting it on the P3 app. The P3 app is available for iOS and Android devices.
Hopefully, APD will be able to locate this porch pirate/suspect and have him prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
