Domino’s Grand Opening in Abilene Helps Raise Money for St. Jude
Domino's in Abilene recently celebrated the grand opening of their new store on Mockingbird Lane where they sold pizza for $3 a pop. The grand opening was fantastic and a huge success, but it was even more incredible because it helped raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Domino's opened its doors at 934 Mockingbird Lane on November 30th and quickly made its presence known by selling $3 pizzas with $1 from every pizza sold going to St. Jude Children's Research Center. People lined up to take advantage of this awesome deal.
For two hours, Domino's made hundreds of pizzas to satisfy the hungry crowd. I've been in the pizza business before and I know it takes a lot to fill a big pizza order of 30 or 40 pizzas. But the folks at Domino's made hundreds of hot pies and I thought they did an amazing job of taking care of every customer in a timely manner.
So not only were all the customers satisfied, but I'm happy to say the event raised over $1700 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. That's awesome!
I was proud to be a part of this event and I even got to meet the infamous "Cassie The Domino's Chick".
Thanks to Cassie and her staff for the hospitality and for doing what they do for our community.
If you get a chance, swing by the new location at 934 Mockingbird Lane and grab some pizza and tell them I sent ya.
