The Texas Rangers have increased the reward for a 35-year-old cold case near Abilene, Texas.

Texas Rangers Cold Case

In 1990, 29-year-old Jackie Foster was reported missing near the Abilene, Texas area. She was last seen at a truck stop in Cisco trying to flag down a ride to a family member's home in California.

Sadly, two days later, her body was found by fishermen in Port Arthur Texas wrapped in a heavy canvas wearing a shirt, pink sweat pants, and no shoes. Her killer or killers have never been found.

Reward Increase

Texas Department of Public Safety has increased the reward to $6000 for any information that leads to the arrest of whoever is responsible for this heinous crime.

The Texas Ranger Unsolved Crimes Investigation Program was created to assist Texas law enforcement agencies in investigating unsolved homicides or violent serial crimes. Since there is no statute of limitations for the offense of murder, investigators pursue these cases to a successful resolution or until no viable leads remain.
