As someone who loves to travel, I always like to keep an eye on what is going on at airports across the state of Texas. I am willing to drive a few hours if it means a cheap flight to a destination I want to visit. We have talked recently about new flights that will kick off in 2025, but what about flight routes that will be cancelled. 

Let’s be honest, people don’t want to hear about the flight destinations that are being cancelled, they want to know about the new options that are available. Although this might be the time to book one more trip to one of these destinations before the flight route is gone. 

The Airlines Decided to Make the Cuts at Austin Airport

As you would probably guess, airports love to add flight routes, but sometimes airlines have the difficult decision to cancel routes where they are seeing passenger numbers drop. Which is the case on 4 flights out of Austin. 

What Airlines Are Canceling Routes Out of Austin? 

According to KXAN, Hawaiian Airlines is one of the airlines that will be canceling one of their non-stop flights out of Austin. The other three flight route changes are all coming from American Airlines.
