Senior Couple Left In Texas Hotel With No Assistance From Family
An elderly couple was found left alone at a hotel in the state of Texas. The major issue was however that nobody knew why they were left there. Here's what is known at time of writing.
What Was The First Sign Of Issues At The Hotel?
According to KETK, Chandler police were alerted to the couple at the hotel. Rylee Taylor, who was employed by the hotel, found a lady wearing only the following: a hospital band, and a nightgown with no shoes. Police also stated to the news organization:
“Officers quickly discovered the couple appeared to be suffering from conative deficiencies and clearly seemed lost...Although the couple had a room reserved for two nights the couple had no luggage, food, money or their needed medication with them.”
One major question remained on many minds: Who left the couple alone at the hotel with nothing?

What Did The Chandler Police Discover About The Couple Being Left Alone?
As revealed by KETK, unidentified family members from the state of Florida took the couple to the lodge. But it appears there wasn't an effort to bring the couple home. In quote from the Chandler Police Department:
“It was discovered that the son and daughter-in-law decided to pay for two nights’ stay at the Best Western in Chandler in order to remove the elderly couple from the residence, although it was later learned without law enforcement’s knowledge it appears the son and daughter-in-law had no intention of returning for the elderly couple.”
Social workers were able to transfer the couple to a medical facility after it was determined that both individuals in the couple had dementia. The search for a mental health establishment for them to stay at has begun as well.
At the time of writing, no charges have been reported. As this is a developing story, we will have more information when it becomes available.
