15,000 Texans Now Have Over $11 Million Coming Their Way

Texas families just got word that over $11 million dollars will be getting returned, and for most there really is not any other possible news that could sound nearly as great, or come at a more important time than the holiday season.

Before you start thinking, "Wow, how lucky for those 15,000 people," in many ways, this is almost like getting your tax return an extra 90 days early, and it is fortunate that the money was found at all. According to this WFAA article, it was the Department of Labor that determined this large some of money belonged to scores of Texans.

The Wage and Hour Division’s Southwest Regional Office in Dallas was able to determine a whole lot of unpaid people had money with literally their name on it. Thanks to a new online portal, you can complete a simple inquiry and learn how much of the $11 million is yours.

Workers Owed Wages is an appropriate acronym because just about anytime someone finds out they have money coming their way, even money that is owed, a very common response is, "Wow!"
