When it comes to ice cream parlors, the draw can be anything from toppings to ambiance, but one Texas cold spot is getting praised nationwide for not just having around 350 legendary flavors, but also a signature Mexican vanilla that is recognizable around the globe.

24/7 Wall St. has compiled a list of the best ice cream parlors in the country and some of them even have a couple locations, but only an Austin original has more than a dozen for you to explore. Additionally, there are several states that featured more than one parlor, but Texas only had one, so you know it has to be elite.

Amy's Ice Creams began on Guadalupe Street in Austin, and now another 10 locations join it in the capitol city's metro. That's not all though, you can also find a couple of Amy's in Houston, and another in San Antonio.
