Texas Governor Greg Abbott was truly surprised when he received the Texas Department Of Public Safety Association's Blue Shield Award.

The State Fair of Texas has announced the finalists for their "2014 Big Tex Choice Awards", including a chicken fried baked potato, and a beer. For the "Original State Brew" a Funnel Cake Ale.

The Grammy Awards will be presented tonight (2/13), and I thought I would see who has the most of these coveted statuettes. The list has a few surprises, including the all time champ. Most of these, however won't be that much of a surprise...
