35th Anniversary – McCartney And Wings Launch ‘Wings Over America’ Tour In Fort Worth, Texas [VIDEO]

Today (March 3rd) marks the 35th anniversary of the 'Wings Over America' tour launch in Fort Worth, Texas. Paul McCartney and his band played the Tarrant County Convention Center, which is not much larger than our Taylor County Coliseum. The reviews of the show the following day were glowing and ecstatic. Critics said that the Wings live show was far better than any other solo Beatles performance prior to that date. Check out McCartney in his prime from that tour in 1976 performing 'Jet':
