$5,000 Burger On Menu In Vegas
Feeling like a high roller? A Las Vegas restaurant has added a $5,000 hamburger to the menu.
The burger at Mandalay Bay's Fleur restaurant is made with Kobe beef topped with foie gras and black truffle. It's served on a brioche truffle bun with truffle sauce.
The rare truffles are apparently what makes the burger so expensive. That and the fact that it comes with a bottle of Chateau Petrus 1995, which is on the wine list at Fleur for $5,300 itself. For that reason, chef Hubert Keller (of Top Chef Fame) calls it 'a bargain'. See the full story here. (via DailyMail.co.uk)
