Outside Wichita Falls, there’s an old building famous for ghost stories. It's called the White Sanitarium, but the locals call it the "Old Insane Asylum." This place has been a part of Texas ghost tales for a long time.

According to an article from Austin Ghosts, it was in the 1920s when a doctor named Franklyn White built this place to help people with mental health problems. He wanted to be kind and make sure they were treated well. But as time passed, the building got old and was left empty. Now, it’s known more for its spooky stories than its history.
