In fact, I know several who actually dread the holidays. It's more common than you think. But, how can this be? It's the jolliest time of year. Who doesn't love Christmas? It's Expensive

I know it's the gift-giving season but for many, this is a major responsibility. Some families can get huge and if you're buying for everyone, that can really amount up. Add in friends and it can really be a financial drain.


From decorating the tree to stringing lights on the house, this undertaking can get out of hand quickly. I know families who have multiple trees set up this year and all the decor to go along with them. That's a bunch of decorating.


Seeing family and getting caught up can be a perk to the holidays but their staying for an extended amount of time can cause major anxiety. Even family can be too much sometimes.

Especially if you have those houseguests, preparing the holiday meal can be a daunting task. Around our house, it seems like we've been cooking since Thanksgiving.
