Artists Snubbed By The Grammys

The 53rd annual Grammy Awards will be presented this Sunday night on CBS. I thought it might be interesting to look at artists the Grammys forgot.

It's a surprising list, and it's one of the reasons that many music fans have been critical of the Grammy Awards over the years. It's a never ending joke that Jethro Tull won the hard rock/metal album award in 1988, beating out Metallica.

Some artists finally got some Grammy love long after their peak years. Bob Dylan never won during the 60's for example. But here are some surprising oversights.

1) The Beach Boys
2) Diana Ross
3) Led Zeppelin
4) The Grateful Dead
5) Neil Young
