Sometimes these deaths kind of slip through the cracks. Atlanta Rhythm Section vocalist Ronnie Hammond died earlier this week due to heart failure. He had called his wife to tell her he wasn't feeling well. An ambulance was called to rush him to the hospital, but he couldn't be saved. Hammond had a smooth, soulful vocal that fueled ARS to multi-platinum success on songs like "Imaginary Lover", "So Into You", "Champagne Jam", and "Not Gonna Let It Bother Me Tonight".
