‘Beatles 1′ Now Available On iTunes

The album 'Beatles 1' is now available on iTunes. The album contains all 27 chart toppers in the U.S. and the U.K. And it will no doubt make history on the digital site as well.

'Beatles 1' holds the distinction of being the biggest selling album in the United States between 2000 and 2009. It's also the fastest selling album in history and held the number one spot on the charts for 8 non-consecutive weeks after its release.

How can you go wrong with an album of nothing but number ones, from the top band of the rock era. There is some controversy over the remastering of the tracks. If you listen to the album, the equalization on the songs was changed dramatically from their original sound. On some tracks it's an enhancement. On others it just sounds a little over compressed or over produced. On the whole however, it's an amazing ride through some of the most incredible tunes of all time.
