Did you know that Steve Martin lived in Abilene at one time and had a house out in Fairway Oaks? From actors to athletes, there's a bunch of talent that comes from Texas. Unfortunately, it's also the final resting place for many of these famous people.
As a native Texan myself, I was interested to see who was buried in our Great State. With the help of Find a Grave, I came upon quite a list. Everyone was there - athletes, historical figures, politicians, actors, and more. I even noticed some that I had no idea were buried in Texas. See how many of the below you recognize.

Ann B. Davis
You may recognize this face. Ann B. Davis was a television actress famous for her role as Alice on the show The Brady Bunch.
Perhaps best known for being a Hall of Fame Professional Football Coach for the Dallas Cowboys, Tom Landry also served in World War II.
A musician born in Lubbock, Buddy Holley was well known for hits such as "Peggy Sue" and "Rave On". He was killed in a plane crash on February 3rd, 1959 along with Ritchie Valens and disc jockey "The Big Bopper".
