Classic Rolling Stones Texas Show From ’78 Coming To DVD

We're headed into Fall, which means record companies and movie companies are gearing up for the holidays with a slew of new releases.  One of those will be a classic 1978 Rolling Stones concert recorded in Fort Worth at the Will Rogers Coliseum! The title is 'The Rolling Stones: Some Girls Live In Texas 1978'

The show has been bootlegged extensively, but now we have a nice clean copy coming on DVD on November 21st via Eagle Rock Entertainment. This one was filmed on the 'Some Girls' tour so it's probably the peak year of the decade for the Stones.  The audio has been remixed and remasterd by studio whiz Bob Clearmountain and the DVD boasts corrected visuals too.  It's available in several configurations and editions including Blu Ray.

The concert was shot on 16mm film so they've obviously had their hands full getting it ready for wide release with good audio and video.  My personal want list continues to grow as these new releases are announced.  This one belongs in every Stones fan's collection, especially if you're a Texan.
