Dianna Agron Wasn’t Asked to Appear in ‘Glee’s’ Cory Monteith Tribute
'Glee's' memorial to the show's deceased star Cory Monteith will most likely be a tear-inducing event, but unfortunately, Dianna Agron wasn't invited. You know, even though Agron and Monteith's characters Quinn and Finn dated on and off for two seasons.
When asked by the New York Post if she would be appearing in the tribute episode, which features returning characters like Finn's mom and stepfather, Agron admitted she was not asked to come back at all.
Curiouser and curiouser.
"It hasn’t completely hit in yet," Agron explained of Monteith's death. "It’s one of the strangest things that has ever happened to me. I don’t know how people do it over and over again throughout their lives. It just makes you take a new lease out on life and look at things a little bit differently."
"He was truly one of the most wonderful people I’ve ever met in my entire life, and that’s something that everybody can say about him."
Nor is she sure that she'll be in any episodes this season after being bumped from a series regular to the three episodes she was in last season.
When asked if she was ready to move on from 'Glee,' Agron replied, "I think moving on might be the wrong choice of words because ['Glee'] is always going to be a part of me and with me and I would always go back ... it’s not necessarily about a departure. It’s about what it’s imparted in me and what it’s given me."
