The Doobie Brothers are busy scheduling shows for 2012.  A series of dates are confirmed leading into March of next year.  The band released their first album of all new material in decades last year with the album 'World Gone Crazy'.  The album was produced by Ted Templeman, who was on the board for the band's biggest albums in the 1970s and 1980s.

Patrick Simmons and Tom Johnston sound great these days, and hopefully the tour will include a guest appearance or two from Michael McDonald, who made an appearance on the Doobies' latest album.  None of the 2012 shows are scheduled for Texas so far, but the band gets as close as Oklahoma in March:

December 10 - Chicago, IL - Arie Crown Theater of McCormick
January 7 - Indio, CA - Fantasy Springs Resort Casino & Special Events Center
February 24 - Hollywood, FL - Seminole Hard Rock Live
February 26 - Clearwater, FL - Ruth Eckerd Hall
March 30 - Catoosa, OK - The Joint at Hard Rock Casino / Tulsa
April 19 - Santa Ynez, CA - Chumash Casino
