EMI Artists Donate Ebay Auction Items For Japan Earthquake Relief
EMI recording artists have donated items for an eBay auction to directly benefit Japan earthquake relief efforts via the Red Cross.
The items range from autographed guitars and albums from David Bowie, The Beach Boys and Slash; to once-in-a-lifetime experiences such as a private rehearsal for Sting's upcoming show at the Apollo Theater. Here are a few items you can bid on:
The Beatles - the last of an extremely limited edition Schwinn bicycle featuring Yellow Submarine artwork
Beach Boys- A signed limited edition Pet Sounds plaque, plus handwritten lyrics to God Only Knows
David Bowie- 35 albums signed by Bowie (He has a large catalog of albums!)
Slash- A signed Gibson Appetite For Destruction guitar
Coldplay- A framed guitar signed by all the band members
Katy Perry- A cupcake shaped trampoline used in her shows
The online auction runs through April 21st. All proceeds go directly to the Red Cross to aid in relief efforts in Japan. The Red Cross is by far the quickest and best way to help out. You can visit the auction to place a bid at ebay.com/EMIfamily4Japan or make a donation directly at RedCross.org
